From 2 to 4 October 2019, WCO Secretary General visited Vanuatu where the National Single Window Project Manager briefed him on the ASYCUDA-based Single Window system and ASYCUDAWorld customs system.
“Dr. Mikuriya visited the [ASYCUDA-based] Single Window project being developed over the period 2018-2020, based on the Customs IT System. Vanuatu’s government agencies, including Customs, have steadily been connected to the processing and e-payment system. The Single Window also incorporates a passenger control system, of major significance in promoting tourism.”
“Vanuatu is the Pacific region to implement the Single Window Project, an online software system for evaluation and management of import and export certificates, license and permits.”
